This metal piece is attached to the top panel of your sectional door.
It allows you to attach the angled stock of your engine to it.
This part can also be adapted to other brands of engines, the principle being generally the same.
This kit includes :

6 sheet metal screws 6.3x16
When fixing in your panel, pay attention that at least 2 sheet metal screws are inserted in the steel reinforcement of the panel (on the top of the panel, inside the foam there is according to the manufacturers, a metal reinforcement strip of 20 to 50mm).

The tie-down plate attaches to the top of the sectional garage door panel and receives the motor bracket.
Its shape allows the consolidation of the panel profiles so that the panel does not risk to deteriorate (tearing).
This plate is pre-drilled to receive the engine ONE or ML510 Chamberlain tie-downs (sold separately).
