The seals of a tilting garage door are components subject to wear, so it is normal to need to replace them after several years of exposure to seasonal temperature variations. Seals in good condition are essential to ensure proper insulation of your tilting door. However, finding a compatible model can sometimes be difficult. To effectively maintain the seals of your tilting garage door, we recommend applying silicone grease spray on the flexible parts before the cold season arrives. This will help limit the aging of the seals and prevent resistance during the opening and closing of your door.
