To replace the internal trolley of your motor, you need to disassemble the rail with the chain. To do this, the simplest way is to position yourself at height on trestles, as working overhead at arm's length can quickly become tiring.
1. Detach the connecting arm linking the trolley to the garage door
2. Detach the rear mount holding the motor head to the ceiling
3. Do the same with the front mount of the rail at the lintel level
4. Place everything on trestles to loosen the chain: you will find the chain tensioner with a nut and the compression spring at the end of the rail.
5. Once the chain is loosened, undo one of the two quick links at one end of the drive link then remove the trolley to replace it.
6. Reverse these steps to put the motor back in place.
