This trolley has a string and a green button to disengage it and switch the garage door to manual mode in the event of a motor failure or power failure.

In order to replace the external carriage of your motor, you must dismantle the rail with the belt. To carry out this replacement, the easiest way is to put yourself at height on trestles, you will thus avoid tiring work at arm's length at height.
1. Unhook the arm connecting the motor carriage to your garage door
2. Detach the motor head from its support on the ceiling
3. Do the same with the fixing of the rail on the lintel
4. Place the assembly on trestles to loosen the chain: at the end of the rail you will find the belt tensioner with a nut and the compression spring.
5. Once the belt is slack, remove the motor head and then take out the carriage (the internal part of which is just connected to the chain by the drive link)
6. Reverse these steps to refit the motor.
